KARDEMIR officials visited ANSHAN STEEL in China and were given a briefing regarding KARDEMIR’s coke investments.

Bulletpoints from the briefing are;

I. There are 156 CDQ plants in Chinawith a capacity between 75 tonnes/hour and 260 tonnes/hour.

II. 18-20 KW energy is spent to process 1 tonne of coke

III. 15 million tonnes of fluid steel and 7million tonnes of coke by the ANSHAN steel factory.

IV. 2 of the CDQ plants present in the ANSHAN factory, 140 t/h and 190 t/h capacity, were built by QINYE-ACRE cooperation.
